Two Men Arrested On Drug charges

Two men were arrested early Monday morning on drug charges. Neighbors had called 911 about a loud vehicle le on Freeman Avenue that had been running for two hours in a driveway. Two men had been spotted in the vehicle apparently passed out. Police arrived and found 34 year old Phillip Jenkins in the driver’s seat with a used syringe and several used bags with a white powder residue inside. The passenger was 43 year old Jacen Valentine. He admitted to smoking marijuana and also shooting heroin with a syringe that was found on the floorboard at his feet. Both men were arrested. Jenkins is charged with manufacture/sale/delivery of schedule II & III narcotics. Valentine is charged with possession of schedule I & II plus simple possession for the marijuana that was found in his possession.
