Update On Shooting Victim

Cocke County Sheriff CJ Ball has released an update on the shooting that happened in the 700 block of McGaha Chapel Road back on August 19. Sheriff Ball has now released the name of the victim, 61 year old Freddy Eugene Carrell McGaha Chapel road in Cosby. The sheriff says the investigation is continuing, but Carrell is still in the hospital recovering and has not been able to speak with investigators. So, more information will be released once investigators are able to speak with Mr. Carrell. We will keep you updated on any further developments in that case.
