UT Head Coach Extensions

Numerous head coaches at the University of Tennessee received a little Christmas in July in the form of contract extensions. Tennessee Vice Chancellor/Athetics Director Danny White announced the extensions yesterday. Heading that list is baseball head coach Tony Vitello who last month led UT to their first College World Series in 16 years. His contract now runs through 2026. Also being extended both head basketball coaches….Rick Barnes & Kellie Harper both signed a 2 year extension that now sees their contracts run through the 2025-26 season.

Also getting extended were…

Softball coach Karen Weekly…Swimming coach Matt Kredich…Rowing coach Lisa Glenn…Women’s Tennis coach Alison Ojeda…Men’s Golf coach Brendan Webb…and Men’s Tennis coach Chris Woodruff.

UT’s new football coach Josh Heupel will make his debut on September 2nd.
