UT Moves Back Into Top 10 With Big Win

How bout them Vols! For the second year in a row, Tennessee has taken down Alabama. The Vols used a touchdown throw from Nico Iamaleava to put the Vols ahead for good and a late interception sealed the win as Tennessee sent the Crimson Tide to defeat 24-17. That loss also sent Alabama tumbling down in the national poll. The Vols move back into the Top 10 moving from #11 to #7. Alabama falls eight spots from #7 down to #15.

With Texas losing to Georgia, Oregon moved into the #1 spot in the poll. Georgia climbs up to #2. Penn State and Ohio State are 3 & 4 while Texas drops to #5. The rest of the top 10 are Miami, Tennessee, LSU, Clemson and Iowa State at #10. Other SEC teams, Texas A&M is 14, Alabama 15, Ole Miss at 18, Missouri at 21 and how about Vanderbilt…the ‘Dores make the top 25 at #25. It’s their first appearance in the top 25 since 2014.
