UT Stays At #3 In Latest Poll

The upper part of the AP college football poll remained unchanged. Georgia, after a 55-0 smashing of Vanderbilt stayed at #1, Ohio State still sitting at #2, and The Tennessee Volunteers remain near the top at #3. The Vols manhandled UT Martin Saturday in their homecoming game. The Vols won 65-24…and that game was not that close as UT had a 52-7 lead before halftime.

Up next for Josh Heupel’s team, they host #19 Kentucky Saturday night at 7pm. In the top 25…six of the top 25 are from the SEC…UT of course leads the way at #3. Alabama is at #6, Ole Miss at #15, LSU at #18, Kentucky at #19 and South Carolina has cracked the top 25 at #25. Between the SEC and the ACC, nearly half of the top 25 teams are from those two conferences.
