Vehicle Stolen In NC Recovered In Cocke County

A vehicle stolen out of Asheville, NC was recovered in Cocke County. The Madison County, NC sheriff ‘s office contacted the Cocke County sheriff’s office this week about a flat-bed truck with a forklift attached that had been stolen in Ashville and was suspected to have been abandoned in Cocke County. A Lt. with the Madison County Sheriff’s office told Cocke County that one of the suspects had led him to where the vehicle had been left. He stated that the truck and the forklift were both in a construction area in teh 1400 block of Highway 73.

Building materials that had been with the truck had been stashed away at residence in Hot Springs, NC. According to authorities, James William Yates, Keith Dale Hudgins and Jessica Dawn English are all three charged with Felony possession of stolen property. The value of all the stolen property was worth more than $200,000.
