VFL Josh Dobbs Is A Winner!
Former Tennessee quarterback Joshua Dobbs is now a winner as a starting quarterback. Dobbs’s pro career started seven seasons ago when he was drafted out of the University of Tennessee by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2017 draft. He has spent time in the Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions and also Tennessee Titans organizations. During training camp, Dobbs was signed by the Arizona Cardinals to compete for the starting job as regular Cardinals starting quarterback Kyler MJurray was expected to miss most of the season with an injury.
Yesterday in Glendale, AZ, Joshua Dobbs led the Arizona Cardinals to an upset win over the Dallas Cowboys, 28-16. Dobbs completed 81 percent of his passes and threw for one score, leading the Cardinals to a big upset of the Cowboys, who were heavily favored in that game. In commemoration of his first NFL win, Dobbs was awarded by the team with the game ball.
