Vols Continue Climb In AP Top 25 Poll

The Tennessee Volunteers men’s basketball team continues their climb in the college basketball rankings. After dispensing with Tarlton State 65-46 over the weekend, the Vols moved up two more spots in this week’s poll. The Vols are now at #6, higher than any other team in the SEC.

UT men’s basketball has now been ranked in the Top 25 for 46 consecutive weeks. Rick Barnes and crew have this week off before facing Norfolk State one week from tonight. That is the last game before SEC play begins on Saturday, January 6th. That’s a road game at Ole Miss. The Rebels are one of just two other SEC teams in the top 25. Ole Miss is ranked 23rd while Kentucky sits at #8.
