Vols Continue To Climb

The Tennessee Vols continue their climb in the latest top 25 national poll. Tennessee’s 25-15 win over Oklahoma on Saturday night has vaulted Josh Heupel’s crew into the top 5 at number 5. That’s up a spot from #6 last week. The Vols began the season outside the top 10, but a 4-0 start has garnered national attention. Four of the top 5 teams are from the SEC. The Vols at #5 are joined by Texas at #1, Georgia at #2, and Alabama is at #4. Ohio state is the only non-SEC team at #3. Other SEC teams in the top 25 are Ole Miss at #6, Mizzou at #11, LSU is at 14, Oklahoma dropped to #21, and Texas A&M is at #24.

For the Vols, they get the week off this week before traveling to Arkansas to take on the Razorbacks on October 5. That will be followed by a date at Neyland Stadium with the Florida Gators on October 12. That will be a Checker Neyland Game.
