Vols Snap Three Game Losing Skid
The Tennessee Vols got a week off to regroup after suffering three losses in a row. They were back on the basketball court last night hosting #11 Louisville. The Vols were frustrated with that 3 game lossing streak and they sue dthe Cardinals as a punching bag. The Vols led at the half 34-27, but would extend their lead in the second half on their way to a 21 point margin victory taking down Louisville 83-62. Jakobi Gillespie led the Vols with 23-points, most of them coming in the second half. Jaylen Carey poured in 12 more and coupled that with 10 rebounds to score a double-double.
The Vols improve to 8-3 on the season. Next up is a date with Gardner Webb in Knoxville this Sunday, December 21. They will host South Carolina State on December 3, before hitting the road to begin SEC play against Arkansas on January 3.
