Wanted Child Abuse Suspect Captured
A man wanted on charges of child sexual abuse and statutory rape is now in custody. The Hamblen County Sheriff’s office had put out a call to the public this week to help them locate 35 year old Dustin Miller. On Wednesday, police in Bean Station received a tip that Miller had been spotted running from a house on Broadway Drive in Bean Station. The Grainger County Sheriff’s office along with help from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s office set up a perimeter in that area. Police then used a drone and a K-9 to locate Miller and he was taken into custody shortly after 8pm Wednesday night. Miller is now being held in the Grainger County Jail. Besides the charges of Sexual Abuse Of A Child and Statutory Rape by an Authority Figure, Miller also faces charges of Reckless Endangerment and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
