Weapon Threat Puts Greeneville High School On Lockdown

This morning Greeneville High School received a tip that a student was intending to bring a weapon to the Greeneville High School this morning. Police were called and the school was placed into lockdown as a precaution. The Greeneville Police department searched the school with weapon sniffing canines and conducted interviews…the student intending to bring the weapon is now in custody and is being questioned by police. No weapon was found. All students and staff are safe.
