White Pine Shooting Is Now Triple Homicide

That shooting last Monday at the Pilot Truck Stop in White Pine is now a triple homicide. The last shooting victim has died…Reverend Kenny Cook died at UT Medical Center, he had been on life support. The news of his death follows the passing of his step daughter 16 year old Greeneville High School student Tegan Welch who dies last Thursday evening…and her father Christopher Ray Welch of Harrimon who died at the scene. That shooting happened Monday afternoon, January 3rd at the Pilot off exit 4 on I-81, when parents met to transfer custody of their child. The White Pine police department and the TBI are still investigating that shooting, They have released no details as of yet.
