Woman Arrested For DUI After Running Into Parked Semi

A woman was arrested for DUI after running into a parked semi. It happened Sunday at the Family Inn on west Hwy 25/70. The manager of the motel showed police where a Ford Focus had run into a parked semi in the parking lot. There was blood on the center console and an open container of moonshine in the passenger floorboard. The owner of the Ford Focus was 29 year old Rebecca Holt who was staying at the motel. Officers found blood on the sidewalk leading up to her motel room…with blood also on the door. After officers knocked with no response, the manager let them in where they found Rebecca Holt lying on the bed, both arms covered in blood. Holt stated she had been drinking with her fiancée who was staying at the Relax Inn…and all she could remember was them getting into an argument. Holt could not perform field sobriety tests and was arrested for driving under the influence. Security footage showed Holt pulling into a parking spot…stopping, then driving into the semi. The driver of the semi stated there was little to no damage to his truck.
