Woman charged With Public Intoxication

Police responded to the area of Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church early Wednesday morning about a man dragging a woman by the arm. 23 year old Christian Rodriguez told police that he was trying to get that woman…21 year old Sandra Shoemaker home because she was intoxicated. He stated he was trying to help her home but she kept collapsing. Shoemaker, who was lying on the ground crying, was clearly intoxicated and had abrasion marks on her arms from falling onto the sidewalk. She was placed under arrest for her own safety and charged with public intoxication. Mr. Rodriguez was not charged,
