Woman Dies In Pigeon Forge Accident- Identity Of Victim Released

More information has been released about an accident in Pigeon Forge last Friday where a person was killed crossing a road. The Pigeon Forge Police Department has released the name of the victim. 58 year old Daisy Valenzuela Vives of Ooltewah, TN was crossing Dollywood lane near the Parkway Friday evening (8/8) around 6pm. A vehicle driven by an 18 year old struck Ms. Vives. She was flown by Lifestar to the UT Medical Center in Knoxville where she died from her injuries. The 18 year old driver is cooperating with police in their investigation. The results of the investigation will be given to District Attorney General Jimmy Dunn’s office to decide if any charges will be filed.
