Woman Found By Parents Deceased

Family members found a woman deceased in a camper yesterday afternoon. David & Claudia Seay told Cocke County deputies that Claudia had taken their daughter 46 year old Christy Worley to the doctor yesterday morning then drove her back to her camper located at the campground on Carson Springs Road at approx. 11:30. After calling her phone numerous times yesterday afternoon to check on her without an answer, the Seays decided to check on their daughter. Upon entering the camper David Seay found Christy Worley unresponsive on the floor and called 911. When deputy Heath Willis arrived he noted that her body was cold to the touch and her skin tone had changed. She was transported to the Newport Medical Center where they pronounced her deceased yesterday afternoon. Mr. Seay said that Worley went to a methadone clinic every week and had heart problems in the past.
