Woman Missing In Greene County

The search is on for a woman that was last seen in late March. 31 year old Jennifer Elliott was last heard from on March 22. Elliott called her mother that day saying she was stuck on Viking Mountain and needed someone to come pick her up. Greene County deputies went to her last known location and found her vehicle. They also found an acquaintance of Elliott’s at the vehicle. Anthony Walton told officers that Jennifer had run off into the woods. Officers searched for Elliott but could not find her. According to her family, Elliott has not been seen nor heard from since that day. Viking Mountain, where she was last seen is in southeast Greene County near the Tennessee-North Carolina border.

Jennifer Elliott is a white female, 5′ 2″ tall with brown hair and green eyes. She weighs approximately 110 pounds. Anyone with information is urged to call the Greene County Sheriff’s office at 423-798-1800.
