WSCC To Hold Fall Commencement
Some Walters State students will be receiving an early Christmas gift, a diploma. Walters State will be holding Fall Semester Graduation ceremonies this Thursday, December 12 at the “Z” Buda Assembly Hall and Gymnasium on the Morristown Campus where Walters State will award 478 degrees and certificates
The college will award 478 degrees and certificates during two commencement ceremonies Thursday. The first will be for graduates in health-related programs. That will be held at 5 p.m with a nursing pinning held at 4 p.m. General commencement ceremony will be held at 7. Associate of Science degrees will be given to 187 students. Associate of arts will be given to 13, while two will earn associate of fine arts.
Technical certificates will be awarded to 177 students. These certificates represent in-demand workforce skills in fields like law enforcement, culinary arts and medical coding.
