Double Homicide In Greene County

Two people are dead after a double homicide in Greene County. The Greene County Sheriff’s department was called to a home on Old Snapps Ferry Road Sunday night around 11:45pm regarding the murder. Late Monday night the TBI released the victim’s identities….they are 59 year old Sherry Cole and her 7 year old grandson Jessie Allen who was a student at Fall Branch Elementary school. The Greene County District Attorney Dan Armstrong says that charges have been filed against a suspect that was brought in for questioning on Monday. The suspect’s identity was not revealed as that person is a juvenile. The juvenile is the only suspect at this time but that case is still under investigation. At the request of the district attorney, the TBI is handling that investigation.
