Man charged with Possession of Methamphetamine

Cocke County deputies responded to a car sitting on the roadway on Hwy 160 Friday Afternoon. The blue Nissan had been sitting on the highway near Clay Creek Church. Deputies spotted a man walking down the road. He was identified as 35 year old Keith Malone who admitted he had been driving the car. Malone was found to be driving on a revoked license due to a DUI in Greene County. When deputies searched Malone, a small vile fell out of his shorts containing a white/clear crystal like substance suspected to be 2.4 grams of methamphetamine. Malone was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell or deliver.
