Orange & Blue Blood Drive Competition Next Week

Tennessee defeated Kentucky last weekend in a thriller 45-42 in Lexington. Now Tennessee hopes to defeat Kentucky again next week…but this time for something a little more important. The annual Orange and Blue Blood Drive Competition starts next Monday. Medic Regional Blood Center will compete against Kentucky Blood Center to see who can collect the most blood donations in 5 days. Medic says not only is the competition fun, but they need the donations as we head into the holiday season.

All those who donate for the week of November 15th-19th will get a special edition t-shirt; a $10 e-gift card; A Petro’s coupon along with a Salsarita’s coupon; Plus a coupon to Texas Roadhouse, Dunkin Donuts, papa John’s Pizza and get a ticket to the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital Fantasy of Trees. The Orange & Blue Blood Drive Competition began back in the 1980’s…this is the 34th friendly competition. Medic is looking to win this year after losing the last two years.
