Granddaughter Assaults Grandmother

A 63 year old grandmother reported to police that she had been the victim of assault at the hands of her granddaughter. Dorothy York told police taking her grand-daughter… Cedia York to the probation office when she became combative. She stated that they engaged in a verbal argument then the granddaughter grabbed her grandmother’s arm and twisted it as well as smacking her in the face…all while the grandmother was driving. Responding deputy Bryce Pickens observed a purple bruise on the victim’s arm as well as a mark on her face consistent with her story. Cedia York was later found walking down Armory Road. She told Pickens that she had “blacked out and snapped”. She was arrested for aggravated domestic assault.
