Boswell Trial To Begin In Sept. 2022
More than a year after she was arrested and charged with murdering her own daughter, Megan Boswell will stand trial. Boswell appeared in a Sullivan County court this morning where investigators stated that after spending a year pouring through evidence in the case, they were giving the greenlight for that case to go to trial. Back in March of 2020, Megan Boswell was charged with killing her 15 month old daughter Evelyn, then hiding the child’s body for months. A grand jury indicted her in August of last year on 19 counts….including two for felony murder. A Sullivan County judge this morning set the date for Megan Boswell’s trial to begin on September 26th, 2022 at 8:30am. Other dates of note assigned with that case include a motion day on April 7 and a pre-trial motion day on July 28. The judge also set a motion deadline and jury questionnaire deadline for March 1, 2022. Megan Boswell’s next appearance in court will be for a bond hearing on the afternoon of December 3rd.
