Commodities Distribution Set For Valentine’s Day

The next commodities distribution in Cocke County has been announced. The Douglas Cherokee Economic Authority will host the commodity food distribution on Valentine’s Day…Tuesday February 14th from 9am-2pm. That will be at the National Guard Armory off of Cosby Hwy south of Newport. This will once again be a drive thru event only with the only entrance being off of Cosby Hwy. All cars will need to remain in a single file line and stay to the left of the Armory Building. Residents will need to bring proof of residency in Cocke County and know their current total household monthly income, as all recipients will have to meet income requirements. Once again, commodities distribution for Cocke County residents only on February 14th from 9-2.
