Saturday Night Fight Leads to 4 Arrests

Four people were arrested in Newport Saturday night after starting a fight at a Newport apartment. According to police reports, 30 year old Chelsea Knight and her husband, Demarcus Knight were separated. Chelsea Knight and three others went to the apartment of Demarcus Knight’s now girlfriend with the intent to start a fight. Arriving at the apartment. Chelsea Knight along with 33 year old Janes Scarberry, 31 year old Kara Bunch, and 31 year old Tiffany Thacker opened a trash can and scattered the contents of that trash can all over the apartment lawn. Knight then barged her way into the apartment where she assaulted her estranged husband and the girlfriend…Chelsea Shoemaker. Scarberry them fled the scene in a vehicle owned by Angela Hodges without the owner’s permission. Chelsea Knight, tiffany Thacker and James Scarberry were all arrested Saturday night. Kara Bunch turned herself into police Sunday morning. Chelsea Knight is charged with aggravated burglary, assault and resisting arrest. All four were charged with disorderly conduct…James Scarbberry also faces a charge of joyriding for taking a vehicle without permission.
