Guns, Drugs, And Cash Seized From Cocke Co Home

The Cocke County Sheriff’s office executed another narcotics search warrant, this at a home suspected for drug activity. That search warrant was served at 780 Shropshire Road. Inside that home was 43-year-old Kenneth Harwell. Deputies and narcotics officers seized an ounce of methamphetamine and an ounce of heroin from that home along with numerous firearms. Those firearms included numerous 12 gauge shotguns, a sawed-off shotgun that was under the legal length, an AK-47, and several handguns including a .40 caliber pistol. The sheriff’s office also confiscated $3,386 in counterfeit cash. Harwell is charged with Sale And Delivery Of Schedule I & II narcotics, Possession Of A Firearm While In the Commission Of A Dangerous Felony, and Possession Of A Prohibited Weapon. Sheriff CJ Ball says that arrest is a continuing effort to slow down the drug traffic currently plaguing Cocke County.
