Fire Destroys Del Rio Home

The Del Rio, Grassy Fork and Cocke County Fire Department all responded to a fire at a home on Bull Mountain Road in Del Rio early Wednesday morning. The fire broke out around 2 am when Donald Conrad said he awoke smelling smoke. He told Cocke County deputies that he got up and spotted fire and smoke coming from the living room. Conrad said he quickly awoke the other two people in the home and got them all out safely. All three individuals were cleared by EMS. The home was completely destroyed along with a 2014 Nissan Rogue that was parked at the home.
