Authorities Still Searching For Two Suspects Who Remain At Large
Police are still looking for the man accused in the killing of a man in Gatlinburg. The serach is still on for 22 year old Rosmel Rubi. He is wanted in connection with a homicide after a man’s body was found in an apartment on Reagan Drive on September 7th. Rosmel Rubi has black hair and brown eyes is 6 feet tall and weighs 150 pounds. Police believe he should be considered armed and dangerous.
And Morristown officials are still seeking the man who backed a car into a home in Morristown, killing an 18 month old child. Walter Mendez is suspected of driving a Toyota Scion backwards, smashing into a home on Louise Street back in August. A toddler, Anderson Lopez Perez was asleep in that home at the time and was killed by the impact. The TBI is offering a $1,000 reward in that case for information leading to the arrest of Walter Mendez.
