Dandridge PD Announces Next Handgun Permit Class

If you missed the handgun permit class in Dandridge recently, the police department there will be holding another permit class coming up in February. With the law that went into effect in July of 2021, handgun permits are no longer required in the state of Tennessee. However, if you plan on traveling out of the state and taking your firearm with you, you will still need to have a permit. Cost for the handgun permit class is $65 and is taught by Lt. Kenneth Lodwick. The next class will be held on Saturday February 19th at 8am and will be at the Dandridge Police Department.
