Family Disagreement Turns Into Family Brawl
A family argument turned into quite the family melee at a home on Jones Cove Road in Cosby Wednesday. Cocke County Deputy David Talton was tasked with figuring out just exactly what happened. According to his play by play, April Dills and Randy Branscum live in a tiny home behind the main residence on the property on Jones Cove Road in Cosby. Dills and Branscum went to the main residence Wednesday afternoon to inquire why the power had been shut off to their tiny home. They confronted Randy Branscum’s mother, Margy Branscum, about the issue. During that discussion, Randy got agitated and started yelling at everyone in the home.
At this time, Randy’s brother Royce showed up to ask Randy to leave. That confrontation led to Royce trying to choke Randy…who then promptly bit Royce to get him to stop choking him.
Margy Branscum, the mother, tried to get the two brothers to stop fighting when April Dills pulled Margy off the two brothers. The two women then fell to the ground and started their own version of WrestleMania. When all was said and done, April Dills and Randy Branscum were found to be the aggressors in the situation and were both charged with domestic assault. Randy Branscum was charged with aggravated domestic assault.
