Fund Set Up For Gatlinburg Police Officer

The city of Gatlinburg has set up a fund for the family of that Gatlinburg Police Officer who was injured while trying to save his family in that house fire on Saturday. Robert Frederick is said to have been upgraded to good condition at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. His house on Kings Branch Road near the spur in Gatlinburg was totally destroyed by that fire. Frederick’s 18 year old daughter Shauna Frederick and his father in law 74 year old Edmond Davis were killed in that fire and his wife Patricia was also injured. Sevier County officials and the TBI are still investigating the cause of that fire…donations can be made to the family at any branch of SmartBank in Sevier County.
