Man Arrested For Domestic Assault

Monday night police were dispatched to the area of Krystals about a possible domestic incident. Police arrived on scene and spoke with Misty Heitz who stated that she had a confrontation with her ex-boyfriend Brandon Hurst who had taken off running when he saw police coming. Heitz stated that Hurst whom she had recently broken up with had wanted to talk to her but when she tried to leave, grabbed her backpack and pulled her back to him attempting to restrain her. She stated that Hurst had been charged with domestic aggravated assault against her once before. Hurst who had jumped in a creek to get away was finally located around the Tractor Supply Store where he was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.
