Man Eludes Police

Police are looking for a man who eluded police. A vehicle with no or an illegal exhaust system pulled out onto Hwy 25/70 from Generation Drive before then turning onto Thinwood Drive and proceeding to drive at an excessive speed of 60 in a 30 mile per hour zone. The driver turned onto Shag Road where he ran through a cattle gate destroying that gate. The suspect then drove into a field and then off a cliffside where the vehicle came to a stop. The male subject then fled from his vehicle into the woods. The female passenger in the vehicle was unhurt. She told police the man driving was Josh Norwood, who is in his early 30’s. Charges are pending upon verification of the driver’s identity.
