Medic Blood Center Helping ETCH
Next week the Medic Regional Blood Center will be celebrating Christmas and helping out the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. Starting Monday, December 13th and going through Friday the 17th, it’s Friends and Family week for Medic…donors next week will receive a coupon for Chick-fil-A, a MEDIC gift, and Texas Roadhouse coupons. Donors will also be entered to win $50 Food City gift cards and an Apple Watch. But for each donor who chooses to skip the MEDIC gift (shirt or blanket), MEDIC will donate $5 to the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. So you can skip the gift and help out the kids. According to the Medic Regional Blood Center, the holidays are usually a slow time for donations but need for blood is high during this time. The mobile blood center will be in Sevier County next Tuesday…they will be at Chick-Fil-A on the 14th from 11-6.
The next appearance for the mobile blood center in Newport will be during the week of Christmas…two weeks from today, December 22, the mobile blood center will be at Advanced Auto Parts from 10-6.
