Newport Kiwanis Club Annual Pancake Fundraiser
The Newport Kiwanis Club has finalized the date for their annual pancake breakfast fundraiser. The pancake breakfast will be held on Saturday, April 1st from 7 til 11am at West End Baptist Church. This is the 39th annual pancake breakfast for the Kiwanis Club, and fundraising committee chairman, Trevor Cates says this is the club’s largest fundraiser of the year. The Kiwanis Club of Newport provides scholarships to Seniors from both Cocke County and Cosby High Schools each year in addition to providing support to many organizations throughout our community. Tickets for the pancake breakfast are $7 each, and will be available at the door, or from any Kiwanis member.
