Newport Police Respond To Domestic Dispute

Newport police responded to a domestic dispute at a home on Woodlawn Avenue Monday evening. Thomas & Vickie Sheehee told police their son Joshua Sheehee has issues with narcotics and is not welcome on their property. Thomas Sheehee stated that when he asked Joshua to leave on Saturday, his son pushed him to the ground. Vickie Sheehee stated that her son had come into the home…uninvited the dey before stating that he had been shot in the head and was bleeding. She observed no wounds on him. Joshua Sheehee was pacing on the sidewalk when police arrived. They asked why he pushed his father down, and Sheehee told them because ” They were in his head”. Police believed the 37 year old to be under the influence of a central nervous system stimulant. He was placed into custody for domestic assault and public intoxication.
