Road Rage In Pigeon Forge
A case of road rage has landed a Sevier County man in jail. Pigeon Forge police say that Tuesday afternoon they responded to a shots fired call on River Divide Road and found a man who had been shot in the leg. The victim stated that there was a vehicle coming up behind him that was driving in an aggressive manner…so the victim said he moved over to allow that vehicle to pass…but instead that vehicle pulled in behind him. The driver of that vehicle Sevierville resident Julian Jay Dumas then pulled out a gun shooting the victim in the leg. Dumas then fled the scene but witnesses gave police a description of the vehicle and police soon found Dumas and placed him under arrest charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment. The victim was transported to Leconte Medical Center for treatment of his gunshot wound.
