Sevier County Juvenile In Custody After Fatal Shooting

A Sevier County juvenile is under arrest this morning and is facing charges after a fatal shooting that took place early Tuesday. According to the Sevier County Sherriff’s office, Tuesday morning around 1 a.m. deputies and investigators were called to a home in the 800 block of Jersey Drive north of Sevierville. Police say that they found 22 year old William D. Willis dead of a single gunshot wound. A juvenile who lives at the residence and is a relative of Willis, is now in custody and is being charged with reckless homicide. The juvenile is being held in the Sevier County Juvenile Detention Center. That investigation is ongoing.
