Warrant Sworn For Motorcycle Theft

Morristown police were called to a residence Thursday evening about a stolen motorcycle. Daryl Killion told police that Cody Compton of Kingsport took his Suzuki motorcycle for a test ride and never returned the bike. Killion also stated that he and Compton were supposed to trade the motorcycle for a Toyota Avalon that Compton had in his possession. Compton had left the Toyota Avalon at Killion’s residence. That vehicle though came back as being stolen. Compton was caught Friday by Hawkins County Sheriff’s Deputies. He was taken into custody. Morristown police have sworn out a warrant for Compton’s arrest for stealing the motorcycle.
