Woman Pulls Knife On Pair At A Cosby Campground

Tuesday evening Cocke County deputies were called to the Cosby Run Campground on south highway 32 in Cosby in response to a fight involving a deadly weapon. As best as deputies could ascertain, Donna Martin, Scott Andrus and Cable Thatch had gotten into an argument over a camper that according to Donna Martin she had been told she could move into. Martin was intoxicated and difficult to understand…but Andrus and Thatch stated that when they approached Martin about who told her she could move into their camper, Martin pulled a knife on them. A witness even stated that at one point Donna Martin had the knife to one of the victim’s neck. When deputies asked to see the knife, Martin got angry and began yelling at deputies…she was then taken into custody for disorderly conduct…and two counts of aggravated assault.
