1 Injured In Monday Afternoon Accident

One person was injured in an accident that happened at the intersection of Cosby Hwy and Epley Road Monday afternoon. According to a report by police, 66 year old Craig Mullins was pulling onto Cosby Hwy from Epley Road with a green light in a Kia Sorento when a Toyota 4 Runner driven by 18 year old Jacob Farley was traveling southbound on Cosby Hwy and failed to stop at the red light. Mullins’ vehicle then T-boned the 4 runner sending it spinning across the roadway, coming to a stop on the right shoulder of Cosby Highway. Craig Mullins suffered a minor injury but was not transported to the hospital. Jacob Farley was cited for failure to obey a traffic signal.
