2026 Congressional Art Competition Now Open
The 2026 Congressional Art Competition is now open. Rep. Diana Harshbarger made that announcement on Tuesday. The Congressional Art Competition is an opportunity for high school students in Tennessee’s First Congressional District to have their artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year. The winning artwork is included in an exhibit, that will feature artwork from all participating congressional districts across the country.
A team of local judges will evaluate entries submitteed in the First Congressional District. Students wishing to participate must pre-register. You can find out more information by going to the website harshbarger.house.gov.
The deadline to register and submit artwork for the competition is Friday, April 3rd, at 3:00 PM.
