32 Indicted On Drug Charges After Long Investigation
A drug investigation by the Cocke County Sheriff’s office has led to the indictment of 32 individuals. Cocke County Sheriff CJ Ball says the 4th Judicial District Attorney’s office presented a Grand Jury presented with evidence on February 24th provided by narcotics detectives.
Sheriff Ball says that 12 of the 32 individuals indicted after the lengthy investigation were arrested on Wednesday, March 5. The rest of those indicted have either moved or were not at home. The indictments have been sealed and the other 20 individuals are still being located. Charges against those arrested include sale and delivery of meth, cocaine and fentanyl. One of those arrested was charged with sale of a counterfeit substance.
During the arrests on Wednesday, the sheriff’s office seized two firearms, $346 in cash and just under 3 grams of heroin. The ages of those arrested range from 20 all the way up to 67.

- Jessica M. McKay age 36- Sale and Delivery of Fentanyl, Sale and Delivery of Schedule 5 Gabapentin, and Sale and Delivery of Counterfeit Substance
- Danielle Vasaturo age 25- Sale and Delivery of Schedule 2 Cocaine
- Alisha Arrington age 37- Sale and Delivery of Schedule 2 Fentanyl
- Kaela Napier age 27- Sale and Delivery of Schedule 2 Meth
- Maleik D. Story age 28- Sale and Delivery of Schedule 1 Fentanyl
- Christopher Finchum age 49- Sale and Delivery of Schedule 2 Meth
- John E. Atkins age 31- Sale and Delivery of Schedule 2 Meth
