Motorcycle Stolen In Waterville Road Area

On Friday a man visiting from San Diego reported his motorcycle stolen in the Tobes Creek Road area. Kevin Olsen of San Diego told deputies that he had locked his 2006 Suzuki motorcycle up to a guardrail just off the 451 exit on I-40 last Monday while he went to hike the Appalachian Trail for a few days. When he returned Friday to retrieve his motorcycle…it and a helmet and jacket that were with the bike was gone. The cable used to lock the bike to the guardrail had been cut and thrown towards the river. There were no witnesses to that theft…one resident says that she did not see a bike there on Thursday afternoon. There are no suspects in that case.
