Tennessee Electors To Cast Presidential Election Ballots Tuesday
Tennessee’s 2024 presidential electors will gather at the Tennessee State Capitol tomorrow, Tuesday, Dec. 17 to cast their ballots. There are 538 electoral votes that make up the U.S. Electoral College, which officially elects the President of the United States. The state of Tennessee has 11 of those votes. One elector represents each of the Volunteer State’s nine congressional districts, with the remaining two being at-large votes.
The amount of electors a state has in the electoral college is based on the number of representatives they have in Congress. Tennessee’s electors will cast their ballots at the Tennessee State House in Nashville tomorrow morning at 10am Eastern time.
