DUI Driver Pulls Out In Front Of Cocke County Deputy
If you are going to drive while under the influence, it’s not a good idea to pull out in front of a police car. A Bybee man found that out Monday night when he drove his Dodge Dakota pickup in front of a Cocke County Sheriff’s deputy on Hwy 160 in Bybee. 55 year old Dwayne Walker was slumped over the wheel and could not maintain his lane. Walker was pulled over and found to have been driving on a license that was revoked in 2011 because of other DUI’s. Inside Walker’s truck, deputies found two separate baggies containing a total of 2 grams of suspected methamphetamine. Walker faces two charges of possession of schedule II narcotics as well as driving on a revoked license.
