Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing In Pigeon Forge

A helicopter had to make an emergency landing in Pigeon Forge on Wednesday. Pigeon Forge police stated that around 11:40 Wednesday morning, a helicopter carrying one pilot and one passenger lost power and had to make an emergency landing in a field off McGill Street…just a short distance from the Parkway and across the river behind The Christmas Place. . A truck had to be brought in to load the helicopter on to remove it from the area. No one was injured and the helicopter did not sustain any damage either.
