Domestic Abuse Tit-For-Tat In Morristown

Back on August 8th of this year, two individuals were involved in a domestic assault. At the time, 30 year old Jonathan Watterson was arrested for assaulting 26 year old Janis Paul. At the time the two were engaged to be married and share a child together. On Tuesday, Watterson showed up at the Morristown police department to file charges of domestic assault against Janis Paul for the same August 8th incident. Watterson stated that Paul hit him in the head and ribs with a baseball bat during that confrontation and he had pictures of the bruising. When asked why he waited so long to file charges, he stated that he could not file charges against her while he had charges against him for the same incident. His charges have now been dropped, so now he wanted to file charges against her.
