Father And Son Arrested On Drug And Weapon Charges In Jefferson Co.

A 10 month undercover operation has led to the arrest of a father and son in Jefferson County. 49 year old William Roy Green and his son 20 year old Michael Edward Green were arrested Wednesday after a Jefferson County Grand Jury returned a sealed indictment for the pair for the Sale and Delivery of Meth. A search of the pair’s residence in Strawberry Plains yielded a significant amount of drugs and also weapons which add to the charges against William Green. Jefferson County authorities seized 300.1 grams of marijuana…2.7 grams of cocaine…31 suspected hydrocodone pills…63 suspected oxycodone pills …plus 2 pistols and a rifle were found along with drug paraphernalia. Both father and son are currently being held in the Jefferson County Detention Center in Dandridge.
